Medixine has participated in several pilots in the field of medication compliance. While it is easy to provide for instance text message reminders, the follow-up of compliance in an easy and affordable way is quite challenging.
Together with Doro, a Swedish mobile phone manufacturer, Medixine has developed a service where logging medication intake is now solved. Doro has modifed their mobile phone software to allow for an easy, one key press logging of intake. The Medixine web service provides for flexible service management, SMS and voice reminders and compliance reporting.
The service is targeted to consumers, is called Muistalääke.fi (remember your medication in Finnish) and is marketed by the largest pharmacy chain in Finland, Yliopiston Apteekki.
