Medixine’s text message based pollen warning system was piloted this spring and summer in Envitori, a reasearch and piloting project lead by VTT (the Finnish State’s Technological Research Center). The results were excellent as 93% of the participants thought that the service was very useful and over 60% said that the service had an effect to the treatment of their allergy.
The pollen warning system will be launched commercially next spring at Medixine’s Finnish health portal, www.terveyskeskus.fi.
