City of Helsinki has launched a pilot to test the use of Medixine’s PHR in screening of blood glucose and cholesterol values. The program is targeting all 45-55 year old in Eastern Helsinki, altogether 5.000 people.
Citizens are authorised to visit a laboratory for testing, results are available through the PHR that advises the user according to the results of the test.
All users have the option of taking a virtual health check in the PHR and start automatic coaching in areas that the health check results suggest, such as loosing weight, for example.
