Medixine wants to promote research in digital healthcare services and systems. To boost Finnish expertise in the field, we award an annual scholarship worth 1.500 € for a congressional visit for one researcher studying at a Finnish university.
Who can apply the Medixine Scholarship?
You can apply for the scholarship if:
- you are in a doctoral program at a Finnish university and your research focuses on the usability and/or systems of health- or wellbeing technology OR
- you are a professor or a teacher in a doctoral program at a Finnish university and you’re mentoring a student who is researching health- or wellbeing technology and you apply for the scholarship for your supervised student.
Instructions for applying:
Write a free-form application where you share your experience or your mentee’s experience; congress or study tour for which you are applying for funding and how it relates to your or your student’s research.
Submit the application with the title “Scholarship 2022” to info@medixine.com.
The application must be submitted to Medixine by 20 April 2022 at the latest.
Selection process
The scholarship will be awarded at the Social and Healthcare congress ATK-päivät on 10 May 2022. Medixine will offer the entrance (+possible additional costs for traveling to Jyväskylä) for the evening gala for the nominee. We will inform the nominee personally at the beginning of May.
