The Helsinki City primary care used Medixine’s Clinic system to test wireless monitoring of blood pressure patients. The system consisted of a Bluetooth enabled blood pressure cuff and a standard, affordable mobile phone. Doctors and nurses had access to the collected values via an easy to use browser interface. Almost all patients said that the system was well suited to the task and worked without problems. Doctors appreciated the quality of the data that supported their treatment decisions.
