A new type of e-service has been developed in Finland to help screening of patients in three areas: hormonal contraception, dental care and eating disorders. Patiens fill in an electronic questionnaire and get advice about the preferred way to handle their problem. If a visit to a doctor is recommended, the system offers an easy to use e-booking service.
The service has been developed by Medixine for YTHS, the national Finnish Student Healthcare service. More care pathways will be implemented into the system.
