Medixine wants to promote research in digital healthcare services and systems. To boost Finnish expertise in the field, we award an annual scholarship worth 1.500 € for a congressional visit for one researcher or graduate student studying at a Finnish faculty (university or university of applied sciences). This year, the scholarship nominee will be chosen by CIO Toni Suihko from the Kanta-Häme welfare region in cooperation with Medixine.
Who can apply for the Medixine Scholarship?
You can apply for the scholarship if:
- You are a researcher or graduate student in a Finnish university or university of applied sciences, and your research focuses on health- or well-being technology OR
- You are a professor or a teacher in a faculty mentioned above, and you’re mentoring a student researching health- or well-being technology topics. You apply for the scholarship for your supervised student.
Instructions for applying:
Write a free-form application where you describe your or your mentee’s research topic, the congress or study tour for which you are applying for funding, and how it relates to the research.
Submit the application with the title “Scholarship 2023” to info@medixine.com.
The application must be submitted to Medixine by 23 April, 2023.
Selection process
The scholarship will be awarded at the Social and Healthcare congress ATK-päivät on 23 May 2023. Medixine will offer entrance (+possible additional costs for traveling to Turku) for the evening gala for the nominee. We will inform the nominee personally at the beginning of May.
